We offer a diverse and experienced faculty. The MSFS Program is a collaboration of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Criminal Justice, who administer the program.
Our full-time forensic science faculty members have real world experience and have worked as practicing forensic chemists, biologists, anthropologists, crime scene investigators, and toxicologists. Our diverse backgrounds in the crime lab and medical examiner system ensure that our students are receiving the education necessary to apply their knowledge to actual casework and function within the criminal justice system.
In addition to this, the College of Criminal Justice provides legal, criminological, and statistical expertise that greatly enhances our program. Core science courses and advanced scientific study in the natural sciences are supported by dedicated faculty within the College of Arts and Sciences, who bring expertise in the areas of biochemistry, spectroscopy, entomology, microscopy, molecular biology, and genetics.
The MSFS Program consists of a multidisciplinary curriculum and faculty with support from both the College of Criminal Justice and the College of Arts and Sciences.
